Ying-Ting Lin's creative work spans instrumental music, electronic music, interactive technology, and interdisciplinary media. Her practice explores how timbre, memory, the body, and cultural experience shape musical language. For Lin, composition is a way of understanding the world through sound, transforming experience, and creating relationships.

My teaching includes piano, music theory, and composition, working with students of different ages, levels, and backgrounds. I believe music education should be more than technical training; it should help students build curiosity, develop independent practice habits, and learn to express their own ideas. In the age of AI, I also guide students in using tools such as SUNO AI to create music, helping them turn technology into a creative tool while keeping human imagination, sensitivity, and judgment at the center.
